What We Believe

As Solelites, we believe that prayer is the language of the heart. As poet-philosopher Rabbi Judah HaLevi wrote 1000 years ago:

“Prayer is to the soul what food is to the body.”

It is in that spirit that we engage together in worship at Congregation Solel. Through music, words, reflection, silent meditation and joy, our worship services seek to create those energizing, uplifting and meaningful moments that allow us to feel the presence of God and the warmth of our community.
